The Union faithful have spoken and chosen their favorite save as the 2021 Visit St. Pete/Clearwater Save of the Year.
Two-time MLS Goalkeeper of the Year and Team MVP Andre Blake knew he would claim the title for the fourth straight season but which one was left to the fans. In the end it was a close one but over 55% of the votes selected Blake's 80th minute denial of Darlington Nagbe in October
The winning save from Blake came with the Union down a man and the Crew on the front foot. The ever dangerous Nagbe collected the ball at the top of the box and ripped a shot for the upper 90. Brick Wall Blake did his thing, rising up to deny Nagbe and pick up another shutout.
