Another piece of Philadelphia Union history took place on Wednesday night with Andre Blake picking up an impressive Achievement Unlocked presented by Independence Blue Cross.
The club's all-time leader in appearances, starts, wins, minutes and more played a key role on the Union's opening goal against FC Dallas. Picking a cross out of the air, the Reggae Boyz captain noticed a huge numbers advantage on quickly hit a long throw to the left side for Kai Wagner. The German left back raced down the side and teed up a perfectly hit ball to homegrown Quinn Sullivan for the opening goal.
Blake was credited with a secondary assist on the play, becoming the first goalkeeper in Philadelphia Union history to be credited with an assist in a MLS match.
