The awards keep rolling in for Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Andre Blake as he's been named the IBX Player of October after a tight vote decided upon by the Union fans.
Blake won the monthly award by a single vote over forward Sergio Santos, the tightest margin in the club's monthly history!
During October, Blake started all seven matches and picked up a pair of clean sheets as the Union went 5-1-1 during the hectic month. Blake turned away 19 shots including a clutch seven-save performance on the road in New England back on October 19th.
Earlier this week it was announced that the Jamaican international had been voted the 2020 Allstate Goalkeeper of the Year. Blake became the fifth goalkeeper in MLS history to win the award twice in his career.
