Philadelphia Union announced today that Andre Blake has received an international call-up for Jamaica ahead of the upcoming FIFA international window. The goalkeeper is part of numerous call-ups during the window for the club which includes: Daniel Gazdag, Tai Baribo, Jesus Bueno and Danley Jean Jacques, who will represent their countries in international matches. Additionally, Homegrown midfielder Cavan Sullivan has been called up to the United States U-17 National Team.
Blake joins the Jamaican National Team for Round One of the CONCACAF Nations League group stage. Blake, who captains the squad, has earned 75 caps and registered 26 clean sheets for the Reggae Boyz. The Jamaican National Team will play matches against Cuba (Sept. 6, 8:00 p.m.) and Honduras (September 10, 10:00 p.m.).
