Andre Blake had both nominations for the monthly accolade with big stops against rival D.C. United and the Chicago Fire but his road stop against the club's biggest rival has been voted by the Union faithful as the Ardent Credit Union Save of August.
D.C. United, they sought to get some momentum early but were denied by the Union’s three-time MLS All-Star in Andre Blake. Again it was Morrison finding space after he ran in behind via a Miguel Berry pass. With a possible lead on the cards, the right-footed attempt was turned aside by the brick wall Blake.
