Jose Martinez is on fire this summer as the Philadelphia Union midfielder notched his second-straight BIMBO Goal of the Month victory as chosen by the Union faithful.
Brujo's latest Goal of the Month selection came on July 15th as the Boys in Blue battled rivals New York City FC at Subaru Park. Coming off a quick counter attack from the Union, Quinn Sullivan collected a pass from Daniel Gazdag to put the homegrown into open space on the right flank. Holding for a run from Mikael Uhre, the cross went to the far post. Uhre went to the near post with the defender to allow an unmarked finish at the post for Jose Martinez to make it 1-0.
