High school students from The Chester Charter Scholars Academy that are members of the iAM Project got to tour Lincoln Financial Stadium in South Philadelphia on Friday morning.
Students got to interact directly with Lincoln Financial Group leaders, who shared an overview of the company, as well as how their individual experiences and education helped them navigate their careers. In addition, the students got a financial literacy overview, including budgeting tips and basics, from an industry expert, author and Lincoln employee.
Philadelphia Union Foundation launched the iAM Project in 2021 and is made possible with WSFS Bank, Lincoln Financial Group, Language Services Associates, Boeing and the Durant Family Foundation. The iAM Project leverages a network of inspirational speakers, academic and professional mentors, innovative links to industry, universities and internship providers to provide multi-year training and opportunities. The program focuses on three core pillars: inspiration, aspiration, and mentorship.
