While Philadelphia Union weren't in action this past weekend, numerous members of the Boys in Blue were competiting for their homelands in international play around the globe.
Andre Blake played every minute of Jamaica's CONCACAF Nations League group stage matches which saw the Reggae Boyz collect four points. Blake picked up a pair of shutouts which saw Jamaica defeat Nicaragua by a 2-0 margin which was followed up by a five save performance against Honduras in a scoreless draw.
Midfielder Danley Jean Jacques started both matches for Haiti in their CONCACAF Nations League group stage which saw them collect all six points. Danley found the back of the net against Aruba and completed 88% of his passes as a key contributer for the side that is 4-0 in League B, Group C play.
Tai Baribo joined the Israeli National Team for their UEFA Nations League matches against France and Italy where they fell by 4-1 scorelines. The Union striker started against the French side and played just over a hour while against the Italians came on as a second half substitute.
Daniel Gazdag was part of the Hunagrian squad that battled the Netherlands and then Bosnia & Herzegovina. The Union's all-time leader goalscorer played 22 minutes against Bosnia & Herzegovina which saw the side claim a 2-0 victory. Hungary sits tied for second in Nations League group play with the Dutch side who they'll place on Nov. 16th.
Homegrowns Andrew Rick and David Vazquez were with the U.S. Under-19 Men's Youth National Team as they took on Sweden and Japan. Vazquez played in both contests including a start against the Swedes which ended in a victory for the Stars and Stripes. Rick got the start in net in the second match with Vazquez coming in as a second-half substitute that again saw the U.S. claim a 3-2 victory.
