Philadelphia Union are set to take on New England Revolution in their final friendly of preseason on Wednesday, February 14th in Clearwater, Florida at Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex.
The match, which will be streamed on PhiladelphiaUnion.com, will be the team’s last game action before flying to Costa Rica to take on Deportivo Saprissa in their Concacaf Champions Cup opener on February 20th.
In the fall, Philadelphia Union won two straight postseason matches against the Revs to advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals, but since then, they’ve hired a new head coach in a two-time MLS Cup winner Caleb Porter, who formerly led Portland Timbers and Columbus Crew SC. With his leadership and some roster reworking, including signing forward Tomás Chancalay, who was loaned from Racing Club last season, to a Designated Player contract, their team could enter the pitch with a newfound energy.
Tune in to watch Philadelphia Union take on their Eastern Conference foes in their preseason finale at 1pm!
