A high scoring July had countless different options but we've narrowed it down to two for the Union faithful to decide who'll be named the Primepoint Assist of the Month. Voting for July's honor is now live and will last for just 24 hours.
The first nominee came in front of the Union faithful in the rout of D.C. United back on July 8th. Jose Martinez played the key ball on the opening goal, flicking a ball over the D.C. defense which had Alejandro Bedoya in on goal for the ninth minute strike.
In the other corner is center back Jakob Glesnes who had a key flick in Orlando for the game's only goal. The Norwegian won a ball played in from a Kai Wagner corner and flicked it into the six yard box where Daniel Gazdag was positioned with Orlando City’s Ruan and the keeper, Pedro Gallese. Seeing the ball heading his way, the Hungarian raised his leg and flicked it in for the advantage on the road
