After a morning of intense training on the WSFS Bank Sportsplex fields, Union II forward Stefan Stojanovic was quick to head over to the Subaru Park Garden for Good to help with volunteering efforts.
The 22-year-old had kept his eye on the garden throughout the entire season, walking daily by the green space on his way to the training pitch. With Union II's season at its end, Stojanovic finally got his opportunity to step inside the garden and help pull vegetables that were donated to local food banks for the Chester community.
"I love being outside and gardening and we have a little garden back home in Chicago," Stojanovic said during a break. "I had never really gotten into it so I figured why not volunteer. I did some research about the organization that comes here and with all these products being distributed to the food banks, it was such a good cause to be a part of."
