Union II had their second preseason friendly in Florida on Friday afternoon, taking on the Tampa Bay Rowdies at their practice facility.
The St. Petersburg-based USL side trotted out a starting lineup that featured six trialists while the Philadelphia Union starting group included just one.
The game started off in favor of the Rowdies, when they scored their first goal in the 15th minute. Kyle Tucker scored in his second straight match, netting an equalizer on a free kick similarly to last game against Florida Premier, but his effort was the last successful attack for Union II.
LeBlanc subbed in a handful players throughout the second half, including 14-year-old Philadelphia Union Academy standout Cavan Sullivan, but the game finished with a 4-1 scoreline.
Their next match is on February 14th against Colorado Rapids 2 -- follow along with @philaunionii on X for updates!
