After announcing the club's Greener Goals Initiatives of Earth Day yesterday, Philadelphia Union kicked off their service with a Community Clean Up.
The Union, in partnership with Recycle Track Systems (RTS), engaged both members of the front office staff and fans in a community cleanup of Chester, Pa. The cleanup also a Union U-Serve volunteer opportunity. U-Serve, launched by the Union, in partnership with Bimbo Bakeries USA, in Dec. 2021, is a volunteer rewards program that allows fans to receive exclusive Union experiences and prizes in exchange for volunteer hours with local and national community partners. After the two-hour clean up, all the volunteers were rewarded with free ice cream from Scoops 'N Smiles.
