Philadelphia Union homegrown David Vazquez was named the top goal scorer of the Concacaf U-20 Championship, scoring three goals as the United States U-20's qualified for 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Vazquez claimed the honor after scoring a brace against Jamaica in their group stage opener followed by his team-leading third goal of the tournament in the 40th minute of the USA’s 2-1 win over Panama.

The Union Academy graduate finished in a six-way tie for the tournament golden boot but claimed the top honor from Concacaf.

Vazquez and the United States U-20 finished as runners-up for the Concacaf Championship, falling in extra time to Mexico by a 2-1 margin.
