It's a battle of two west coast goals from the Boys in Blue that will be determined by the Union faithful for the winner of May's BIMBO Goal of the Month! Voting for the accolade is now live and will last for just 24 hours.
The first nomination comes from April's winner with Julian Carranza looking for back-to-back awards. With a defender draped on his hip at LAFC, Carranza sent a left-footed flick that bent around the keeper and the post for the Union to make it 2-1.
Daniel Gazdag looks to secure the monthly title with a strong goal candidate against the Portland Timbers. Homegrown Nathan Harriel delivered a long throw-in that found captain Alejandro Bedoya at the edge of the six yard box. Bedoya sent a hard flick centrally for the Hungarian midfielder who instantly flattened his body and made magic with a bicycle kick that silenced Providence Park.
