There were a pair of stand out assists in May and now we're turning to the Union faithful to decide who should be named the Primepoint Assist of the Month! Voting for the accolade is now live and will last for just 24 hours.
The first nominee on the road at Nashville SC's home opener as Daniel Gazdag intercepted an attacking throw in from the hosts. Seeing the high line from the center backs, the Hungarian sent a volley over the top and into the path of Uhre. The Dane patiently chased down the pass and then shrugged off Zimmerman with a cut back. With only the keeper to beat, he timed his shot perfectly as it slid under Joe Willis for Uhre’s and GEODIS park’s first goal.
Kai Wagner is going for another Primepoint Assist of the Month win with his assist on the Union's second goal at the Portland Timbers. Wagner spun a cross into the box from the left flank on the road picking out Sergio Santos who rose highest among a group of bodies to power a header into the lower corner of the net.
