The votes have been counted and September's top stop wasn't from goalkeeper Andre Blake but defensive midfielder Jose "El Brujo" Martinez's big stop on the road at FC Cincinnati.
Martinez's big save came late against the Ohio-based club came in the 89th minute of a scoreless match. After a free kick volley from former Union midfielder Haris Medunjanin connected with Kendall Waston, the header seemed destined for goal but Martinez raced to the far post and kicked it off the line.
