Philadelphia Union II took on Inter Miami CF II at Subaru Park on Sunday afternoon, falling 2-1. Miami opened the scoring in the 12th minute, when winger Lucas Meek slotted in a rebound from close range. Union II displayed a real attacking threat in the second half, outshooting Miami 14-4, including a freekick from midfielder Jeremey Rafanello which hit the crossbar. Union II found their equalizing goal in the 87th minute, when forward Luciano Sanchez found forward Nelson Pierre who scored to level the score at 1-1. Miami defender Farid Sar-Sar found the back of the net to claim all three points in second half stoppage time.
