Philadelphia Union Academy learned on Wednesday morning who they'll be playing in the upcoming Generation adidas Cup Qualifiers. The GA Cup Qualifiers will take place at the SilverLakes Sports Complex in Norco, Calif., Friday, December 3 through Tuesday, December 7, as part of the MLS NEXT Fest.
The U15 squad will play at 11 a.m. ET for all three of their matches in California and begin the group stage with a showdown against Austin FC on the opening day. 24 hours later the Boys in Blue will take on Orlando City SC and will wrap up Group E play against Real Salt Lake on Monday, December 6.
Meanwhile the U17s were paired off with strong competition that will kick off against the Columbus Crew on December 3rd at 3 p.m. ET. They'll follow it up with Academy rivals, Atlanta United FC the next day. They'll conclude Group D against the San Jose Earthquakes on December 6th with kick at 3 p.m. ET.
