In the final group stage matchday of the inaugural DA Cup, Philadelphia Union Academy went unbeaten against rivals New York City FC to claim the top spot in the U17 and U19 levels. By claiming the top spot in each group, the Union Academy teams advance to the Winter Cup in Lakewood Ranch, Florida in early December. During the Winter Cup, the teams will compete in three more group stage games with the group winner advancing to the single-elimination Spring Cup.

The U17s make the most of a standout performance from Jack McGylnn to post a 6-0 victory Saturday afternoon. McGlynn bagged a first-half hat trick with goals in the 7th, 14th and 25th minutes including this golazo.

With the result, the U17s claimed first place in the Northeast/Atlantic group going a perfect 8-0 while allowing just four goals in those eight wins.

The U19s also finished top of the group with a strong 2-1 victory at YSC Sports. Axel Picazo opened the scoring with a conversion from the penalty spot while Patrick Bohui scored the game-winner moments after entering the match as a second-half substitute. The 19s were 5-2-1 in their group stage matches, topping New York Red Bulls for first place on goal differential.

Chris Brewer's U15 capped off the unbeaten weekend against New York City FC with a comeback win. After the visitors opened the scoring in the 31st minute, Angel Gael Medrano Mayorga found the equalizer in the 58th minute to make it a 1-1 contest.
