While the Philadelphia Union Academy is only days into the new year, coaches and players already have their eyes on a big tournament in South America. Both the U-17 and U-12 squads were invited to play in a total of four tournaments in Brazil this month.
The U-12 squad will compete in the Iber Cup Elite Sao Paulo from January 13-18 followed by the Iber Cup Porto Alegre January 20-26. Meanwhile the U-17s will compete January 13-19 in the FAM Cup Sub-17 Invitational followed by the Iber Cup Elite Porto Alegre that will run from January 21-26.
All Union Academy matches in Brazil are tentatively scheduled to be live streamed for free and links with the live video will be available here.
