The Philadelphia Union U-17s have advanced in the MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs! After defeating the Portland Timbers 2-0 on Sunday, they earned a spot in the Round of 16.
The team will continue on in their hunt for the cup on Monday, June 19 at 7:15 pm EST against LA Galaxy Academy.
LA Galaxy put on a dominant performance against NYCFC Academy on Sunday, winning 6-2. The team is seeded 13th in the tournament and the Union is seeded fourth.
