Forward Cory Burke registered the latest Independence Blue Cross Achievement Unlocked on Saturday night, as Philadelphia Union defeated the San Jose Earthquakes, 2-0.
The Jamaican notched the opening goal on a cold and windy evening at Subaru Park but was clinical when needed for his second goal in two starts. The 30th minute goal was a special one as Burke became the 8th member of the Union to score 20 goals joining Sebastien Le Toux (50), CJ Sapong (36), Kacper Przybylko (35), Jack McInerney (25), Ilsinho (22), Conor Casey (21) and Fafa Picault (21).
