Union Juniors

Union Juniors

Starting in fall 2025, Union Juniors will be comprised of the U9, U10, U11 and U12 players and will follow the Club and Country model. This will allow players to train in a high-level, club-neutral environment while continuing to compete with their club teams in matches. This move away from the team-based model in the U9-U11 age groups will allow for players to further their own development with their clubs while also allowing for expanded training pools in the Union Juniors. For the 2025-26 season, the Union Juniors will continue to field a U12 team.

Philadelphia Union Academy encompasses not only the U13 to U18 age groups but also offers a professional pathway with Union II for players ready for the next step in their development.

The Union Academy has produced 29 Homegrown players for the Philadelphia Union and 10 more for Union II. The list of homegrowns includes U.S. Olympians Nathan Harriel and Jack McGlynn, and USMNT players Brendan Aaronson, Paxten Aaronson, Mark McKenzie. In addition to turning pro, the Academy has had countless more fill the ranks of collegiate soccer at some of the most prestigious universities in the United States. On the field, the Union Academy has won the prestigious GA Cupthree times at the U17 and U18 level as well as at the U12 level in 2019 as well as MLS NEXT Cup at the U-15 and U-17 level.
