The final Independence Blue Cross Achievement Unlocked of the 2025 season opener came late in Philadelphia Union's battle at Orlando City SC.
In the 84th minute with the Union leading by a 4-2 margin, Head Coach Bradley Carnell brought on defensive reinforcements to see out the result and thus gave Ian Glavinoch his Union debut. The 23-year-old Argentinian replaced Daniel Gazdag and played the rest of the match as the Boys in Blue started the season with a road victory.
Glavinoch joined the Philadelphia Union on December 20, 2024, on a one-year loan from Newell’s Old Boys.
