Another Independence Blue Cross Achievement Unlocked of the season took place on Sunday evening as Philadelphia Union faced off against New England Revolution.
Homegrown Paxten Aaronson not only earned his first start for Philadelphia Union where he became the 11th homegrown in club history to start a MLS match, he notched his first professional goal. The goal came in the first half to tie things up a 1-1 with an impressive move to find some space before firing a blast into the upper 90. Aaronson becomes the third youngest goalscorer in club history at 17 years and 347 days trailing Quinn Sullivan and Jack McInerney as the only 17-year-old scorers.
