Philadelphia Union, in partnership with Battleship New Jersey and Liberty USO, today announced Battle of the Branches, a 5v5 mini-soccer tournament at the Battleship New Jersey. In addition to the tournament, the event will conclude with a party with food and beverage and live entertainment on the deck of the battleship.
The Union invites all active duty military, as well as retired, reserve, DOD civilians, and friends and family playing in honor or memory of military members, in the Philadelphia-area to assemble teams and compete in the tournament. There is no cost to register and for each team that participates.
All visitors that purchase a Battleship New Jersey tour during Battle of the Branches are welcome to come out and support members of the military as they compete to come out on top!

The winning team will receive free tickets to the Union’s Military Appreciation Game on Sunday, August 1st against the Chicago Fire. They will also be recognized in front of fans and the team.
