The latest battle for the IBX Player of the Month crown sees two key midfielders squaring off as Alejandro Bedoya takes on Daniel Gazdag.
The team captain had a pair of goals and an assist in October, helping the Boys in Blue continue their push for second place in the Eastern Conference. Bedoya's first goal of the month came with a full field effort against the Columbus Crew, intercepting a pass and then finishing it off on the other end. Bedoya than scored the second quickest goal in club history with a goal just 38 seconds into the contest at Toronto FC and followed up the performance with an assist against FC Cincinnati.
Gazdag had a breakout October with three goals and a pair of assists to power the Union offense. Gazdag bagged a brace on the road in Minnesota with a golazo in the first half and pouncing on a set piece change in the final 45. The Hungarian continued to rise in form as the month closed out with a goal against FC Cincinnati and an assist plus the assist to Bedoya at Toronto FC.
