We're starting off our morning by celebrating a BIMBO Birthday for midfielder Alejandro Bedoya!
The Philadelphia Union team captain turns 34 today and has provided countless memorable moments with the Boys in Blue since his arrival in August 2016. Bedoya scored the Union's lone playoff goal in 2016 with a chip shot at Toronto FC and became the first player in club history to score in multiple MLS Cup Playoff Games with his first-half strike against New York Red Bulls in 2019.
Bedoya currently has made 126 regular season appearances with 124 of them being starts and is on pace to become the fourth player in club history to hit 150 starts. In his starts, Bedoya has scored 13 goals and added 17 assists that rank No. 11 in goals and No. 7 in helpers.
