We're starting off our Wednesday morning by celebrating a BIMBO birthday for midfielder Daniel Gazdag!
The Hungarian turns 26 today and has made an impact on the Boys in Blue since he arrived from Budapest Honvéd FC during the summer transfer window last season. Gazdag earned 23 appearances in his debut season notching 17 starts which was highlighted by a brace against Minnesota United in late October. Overall he has scored four goals and added five assists in regular season play. Gazdag was one of the heroes in the MLS Cup Playoff run by the Union in 2021, scoring the game-tying goal against Nashville SC in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
