After three big points at home against rival D.C. United, we're continueing the fun by a Happy BIMBO Birthday to goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh!
Signed by the Union on April 2, 2021, the keeper turns 28 today and brings to the club not only depth but experience as well. While the keeper has yet to appear for the Boys in Blue, he made the matchday roster for the first time against D.C. United on Saturday night.
Prior to joining the Union, Ranjitsingh played for both Orlando City SC and Minnesota United FC, making five appearances. Ranjitsingh also played for Louisville City in the USL Championship, where he led his team to consecutive titles in 2017 and 2018, keeping clean sheets in both finals. On the international level, Ranjitsingh earned a call up to Trinidad and Tobago’s national team in 2016 ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualification. In 2019 he was called up once again where he was subsequently named to the final Gold Cup roster, debuting in a friendly against Canada.
