Since arriving in Philly ahead of the 2020 season, Martinez has embodied the City of Brotherly Love with his relentless presence on the pitch that has him as one of the top defensive midfielders in the league. Martinez has made 59 appearances and 58 starts for the Boys in Blue and provided six assists. Brujo's biggest assist came earlier this season with the game-winning assist against Eastern Conference rivals New York City FC.
