We are starting off this week by celebrating a BIMBO birthday for Philadelphia Union's newest acquisition Matheus Davo!
Acquired on loan from Brazilian side, Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, Davo turns 21 today and will be on loan with the Union through the end of the year, with a club option to buy at that time.
Prior to joining the Union, Davό has been on loan with Brazilian club Guarani FC in the Série B league where he has scored five goals and added four assists in 44 appearances (41 starts). He recorded his first multi-point game for the club when he scored a goal and recorded an assist on June 2, 2021, in a 5-2 victory over Operário-PR, and contributed with another multi-point game when he scored and added a helper in a 4-1 win over Confianca-SE on July 21, 2021.
