It is Labor Day weekend but we're sending out a special BIMBO birthday celebration for forward Sergio Santos!
The Brazilian striker turns 27 today and has been keeping opposing center backs on his heels since he first broke onto the pitch in 2019. In 58 appearances, Santos has scored 16 goals with his most impressive display coming against Toronto FC in 2020. On that night, the forward became the fourth player in Union history to net a hat trick in a match that propelled the Boys in Blue into first place in the Eastern Conference.
This season, Santos has netted four goals in 20 appearances and set up the game-winning goal against D.C. United at home.
