Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Andre Blake and defender Kai Wagner played 30 minutes of action as the MLS All-Stars defeated the Liga MX All-Stars in penalties.
Both of the Union's representatives came into the match for LAFC Head Coach Bob Bradley in the 30th minute of play and put up highlights before the halftime whistle. Making his first MLS All-Star appearance, Wagner showed just a taste of his playmaking skills with a nutmeg on the defender marking him before picking out New England Revolution forward Gustavo Bou just outside the box with a key pass.
Shortly after the Bou chance, it was Blake's moment to shine and the two-time Goalkeeper of the Year did just that. With Liga MX looking to counter against the MLS' full attack up the pitch, Blake timed his tackle to cut out the chance from Santiago Gimenez.
