Box Score | New England Revolution 2, Philadelphia Union 1

Philadelphia Union faced off against New England Revolution on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium on MLS Decision Day, falling 2-1. With the loss, the Union finished their 2023 MLS regular season with a 15-9-10 record and clinched fourth place in the Eastern Conference with 55 points. The Union went unbeaten in 16 out of 17 home games this season, scoring 33 goals and allowing 13. During the first half, forward Julian Carranza gave the Union a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute. New England then responded with a pair of goals from Gustavo Bou in the 25th and 43rd minute, making it 2-1.

Philadelphia Union will face off against the New England Revolution in the First Round of the 2023 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs (Time and date TBD).
