More history came for Cavan Sullivan as earned his first professional start for Philadelphia Union II on Sunday evening.
Sullivan signed with the Philadelphia Union to the largest deal for a Homegrown player in Major League Soccer history on May 14th. Sunday's start was a historic one as the homegrown midfielder became the youngest player in the organization's history to start a league match at 14 years, 8 months, 5 days.
Sullivan lead the team with nine duels and completed 14 of his 18 passes in the match with 12 of them coming in the final third. The midfielder had 31 touches in 55 minutes of match action in which Union II defeated Columbus Crew 2 by a 3-1 margin.
