Philadelphia Union esports competitor CisseSZN got his 2021 eMLS calendar off to a strong start by making the Knockout Round at at eMLS League Series One presented by Coca-Cola.
The 23-year-old qualified for his first eMLS live-stream after racking up 30 points for the No. 4 overall seed ahead before falling to eventual champion Didychrislito in the Quarterfinals. Cisse concluded the qualifiers with a 9-2-3 record in the first 14 contests of the eMLS calendar and led the league with 48 goals scored overall.
He'll be back in eMLS action in just a few weeks with online qualifiers for eMLS League Series Two presented by Coca-Cola set to begin on Tuesday, February 2nd. Cisse will play another 14 matches just like LS1 with the competition stretching from Feb. 2-3 and Feb. 9-10 with the Knockout Rounds beginning on Saturday, February 13th. The competition schedule will offer some intriguing matchups with clashes against former eMLS Cup Champions KidM3mito (Chicago), Doolsta (Nashville) and reigning champion Adamou of New York Red Bulls.
