Ahead of Philadelphia Union's road match against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the status of the squad on Thursday afternoon.
Jose Martinez
“[Jose] worked out today and did the ball work for what I'd call half of a session and then pushed himself physically on the side and responded well to it. The hope is to have him available for selection for Colorado, maybe not to start but hopefully off the bench. Obviously we have two home games coming up against D.C. which is an in-conference game which is big and then a turnaround and unfortunately have to play New England who has a full week of rest on the Saturday. Two big games coming up as well as the Colorado game but he's pushing like crazy to be ready for Colorado."
