After winning the first eMLS event of the season at last month's eMLS League Series One, presented by PlayStation, in Southern California, Philadelphia Union gamer Doolsta has been in high demand. The Union gamer ended Kid M3mito's 33-game winning streak in the tournament final and established himself atop the eMLS field heading into February's League Series Two in Dallas.
Following his win, the 18-year-old from West Chester spoke with technical.ly to discuss the path that brought him to the Union and to his first eMLS title.
One highlight of the interview came when Doolsta was asked about one thing people often get wrong about esports players. "A lot of people think that we just sit on the couch all day," Doolsta said. "I actually do play soccer and some of the players are just unbelievable and not just on the game but in the pitch."
