High school students from The Chester Charter Scholars Academy that are members of the iAM Project got to tour BIMBO Bakeries USA in Horsham Township, PA on Friday afternoon. Students that went on the tour are those that were accepted into the Aspire Program which offers benefits and exposure to several departments of a major league sports team and our partners. Friday's event was a ‘learn and explore’ workshop at the factory where countless BIMBO products are made.
Philadelphia Union Foundation announced the iAM Project back in December in partnership with BIMBO Bakeries, Lincoln Financial Group, Global Neurosciences Institute, Neumann University, and the Kevin Durant Charity Foundation. The iAM Project leverages a network of inspirational speakers, academic and professional mentors, innovative links to industry, universities and internship providers to provide multi-year training and opportunities. The program focuses on three core pillars: inspiration, aspiration, and mentorship.
