Philadelphia Union announced today that Jack de Vries has received an international call-up from the United States U-17 Men's National Team. De Vries joins a long list of Philadelphia Union players called up from their respective federations ahead of next week’s FIFA international window. He joins the list of Union players called up is as follows: Brenden Aaronson, Matt Freese, Mark McKenzie (All United States Under-23), Andre Blake, Olivier Mbaizo (Cameroon Under-23), Jamiro Monteiro (Cape Verde) and Warren Creavalle (Guyana).
The future Union homegrown will join the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team Domestic Camp from Nov. 11-18 in Lakewood Ranch, FL. During this time the squad will play friendlies vs. U.S. U-16 BNT (Nov. 14), Netherlands U-16 (Nov. 16) and Turkey U-18 (Nov. 18). The camp will be held in conjunction with the U-16 BNT international competition. Earlier this season de Vries earned call-ups to the U-17 MNT camps in April and again in July.
