It’s a battle for the IBX Player of September crown as the red-hot scoring Kacper Przybylko faces off against the tenacious Jose “El Brujo” Martinez.
Przybylko led Philadelphia Union in scoring during September, bagging three goals as he helped propel the club up the Eastern Conference standings. Przybylko notched a pair of goals against Orlando City SC and nabbing the assist on the third goal of the contest. He followed up the performance with another match-winning goal against Atlanta United, finishing off a play set up by Martinez.
Martinez’s strong case for the Player of the Month crown saw him lead the team with 14 tackles in the midfield including eight against the New York Red Bulls to cap off the month. In addition to getting the assist on the Przybylko goal against Atlanta, Martinez completed over 75% of his passes and blocked a pair of shots.
