Chester, PA  (September 17, 2023) – Philadelphia Union II took on Huntsville City FC in their final home match of the regular season at Subaru Park on Sunday night, winning 2-1. With the win, Union II move up to seventh place in the Eastern Conference with 39 points as they continue to fight for a playoff spot. In the first half, 15 year-old defender Neil Pierre opened up the scoring just before half off a corner sent in by midfielder Jeremy Rafanello. In the second half, homegrown midfielder Quinn Sullivan found forward Stefan Stojanovic in the box to double the lead in the 73rd minute. In the 90th minute, Huntsville converted a penalty to cut the lead in half. Union II took all three points in their final home match of the regular season.
