CHESTER, Pa. (February 2, 2022) – Philadelphia Union today announced their promotional schedule and title partner nights for the 2022 season. This season, the Union will host eight theme nights featuring special activations centered around fans and everyday heroes, including annually held fan-favorites such as Pride Night, Kick Childhood Cancer, and Fan Appreciation Day. The Union kick off their promotional schedule with Kids Day on April 23 vs. Montreal and will wrap with the Union’s annual Fan Appreciation Day on October 9 in celebration and recognition of the season-long support of the fans who got them there.
Highlights of the Union’s 2022 Theme Nights include:
- Kids Days (April 23 vs. Montreal presented by Subaru of America; July 30 vs. Houston) – Celebrating local youth with special experiences and prizes.
- Pride Night (June 26 vs. NYCFC, presented by Visit St. Pete/Clearwater) – Celebrating #SoccerForAll and inclusivity.
- Alumni/Fireworks Night (July 8 vs. DC United, Fireworks Night presented by Bimbo Bakeries USA) – Philadelphia Union will celebrate the Fourth of July with its annual fireworks show following the match. Additionally, Philadelphia Union Alumni return to Subaru Park where fans will have the chance to engage with some of their favorite former players as the Union honor and celebrate them with pre and in-game activations.
- Military Night (August 13 vs. Chicago presented by Crozer Health) – A special night to honor the armed forces with pregame ceremonies featuring military personnel.
- Hispanic Heritage Night (August 27 vs. Colorado presented by Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer) – The Philadelphia Union will celebrate Hispanic Heritage with in-game activations featuring Hispanic music, food, and culture.
- Kick Childhood Cancer/Phang’s Birthday (September 10 vs. Orlando, presented by Subaru of America) – The Union celebrate the brave children battling pediatric cancer by honoring them in-game with special activations. The team will also wear a limited-edition Adidas KCC Top. Additionally, the club will celebrate local youth players with special experiences while celebrating Phang’s Birthday.
- Fan Appreciation (October 9 vs. Toronto, presented by Independence Blue Cross) – The Union wrap up the regular season on Decision Day with their annual U Thank U. Fans will enjoy specials on concessions prices, discounts in the Union Shop, and special game experiences.
