Philadelphia Union today announced a new partnership with Easterseals to help build a more accessible and inclusive future for people with disabilities. Easterseals is a leading non-profit providing education and therapeutic services for children with disabilities, making them a proud supporting partner of Union Youth.
Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is changing the way the world defines and views disability by making a major, positive life-changing difference in the lives of people with disabilities and their families to help them live, learn, work and play in our community. Philadelphia Union is proud to partner with Easterseals to improve access, equity and inclusion for children and adults with disabilities.
Along with becoming a supporting partner of Union Youth, Easterseals will host a Soccer for All clinic. Soccer for All is a Major League Soccer initiative aimed to signify that everyone is welcome to MLS and strives to provide an environment that emphasizes inclusivity and equitability. The clinic will be hosted on the WSFS Bank Sportsplex turf fields where Easterseals’ students will learn soccer drills from Union Youth coaches in collaboration with Easterseals therapists.
Additionally, Easterseals’ ES Gaming will host an E-Sports Tournament where they will be the presenting partner of the tournament welcoming players of all abilities. On match days Easterseals will have branding presence with signage displayed on LEDS, concourse signage, a video board commercial, and plaza activations.
