A highlight of each season is the Special Olympics Unified Sports All-Star Game and Philadelphia Union are excited to announced the club will be sending Elijah Reed and Juliana Zacarias to Columbus for All Star 2024.
On Monday morning, students, faculty and staff gathered at George Washington High School to congratulate Elijah and Juliana and watched as the duo signed their official Philadelphia Union Unified contracts to secure their spots for the All Star Game.
Every year one Special Olympics athlete and one Unified partner are selected to represent their MLS club during MLS All-Star Week. The experience culminates in a competitive Special Olympics Unified All-Star match.
