Ticket sales for the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final between the Philadelphia Union and Sporting KC at PPL Park will begin on Tuesday, Aug. 18 for season ticket members and Friday, Aug. 21 for the general public, the club announced Tuesday.
The Philadelphia Union will host the final of the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup against Sporting Kansas City on Sept. 30 in PPL Park for the second consecutive year. The Union reached the final after defeating the Chicago Fire 1-0 in the semifinal on Wednesday, Aug. 12 with Sebastien Le Toux ´s goal in the 74th minute.
"To host the U.S. Open Cup final for two consecutive seasons is an incredible honor and one that reflects the hard work and dedication of Jim Curtin, the technical staff and the players,” Philadelphia Union CEO and Operating Partner Nick Sakiewicz said. “We look forward to seeing our loyal and passionate fans come out to PPL Park on September 30th to watch us fight to lift the Lamar Hunt Trophy.”
Season ticket members can purchase tickets through their account manager on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. and have until Sept. 3 to purchase their seats for the final. The general public can purchase tickets on Friday at 10:00 a.m. by calling 877-21-Union or by visiting www.philadelphiaunion.com/tickets.
This weekend, the Union travel to Saputo Stadium to face the Montreal Impact on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 8:00 p.m. This weekend´s game will be televised on The Comcast SportsNet. The Union play in PPL Park again on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7:00 p.m. against the New England Revolution.
