With a comeback victory on the road at San Jose before a stumble at Columbus, Philadelphia Union continued their run as one of the top teams in Major League Soccer according to the latest edition of MLSSoccer.com's Power Rankings.
The No. 5 slot marks the ninth-consecutive week the Boys in Blue are within the Top five spots of the weekly rankings, a big accomplishment from March 12's No. 20 spot. This season the Union have been ranked in the Top Five 18 different weeks with the highest rankings coming June 4th, June 11th and June 25th when the Union only trailed LAFC.
With a home match already secured for the 2019 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, the Union cap off the season with Decision Day, presented by AT&T, against Eastern Conference champions New York City FC at 4 p.m. The match is also a doubleheader with fans encouraged to cheer on Bethlehem Steel FC in their home finale against Charlotte Independence at 7:30 p.m.
