Philadelphia Union Academy kept its winning ways to begin its fall season with a trio of victories over Real Jersey FC at YSC Academy in Wayne, PA.
The U14s began their busy weekend with a 4-0 clean sheet victory over Real Jersey FC as the team limited the visitors to few chances. With their opposition playing compact, the group was able to create chances and convert as Jordan Griffin, Anthony Washington, Michael Tzimoulis and Jeremy Salazar collected goals.
One age group younger saw the Union’s U13s keep a clean sheet as well as they swept past their opponent by a 3-0 margin. Playing with confidence and aggressiveness in the attack netted results as Cavan Sullivan, Brett Seemuller and Luke Vilary led the offense.
The Real Jersey FC swept was completed by the U12s as they picked up a 4-1 result to improve to 2-0 in the fall. William Ferreira led the U12 attack with a hat trick while also creating other scoring chances if not for some strong goalkeeper from the opposition.
